Tonight I made myself a couple of ham, mozarella and arrugola toasties, but as I was still feeling hungry after that I decided to experiment a little with whatever was in the fridge...

Next time I need to work quicker once the gnocchi are in the water, but apart from that they were splendid. Cheese sauce was spectacular, but I suppose 300g of cheese split betweeen two portions would make a bit of an impression, even if tempered with a little cream. ("Light"? What is that strange word???) I'm making gnocchi tonight... Potatoes are steaming away merrily in the kitchen, just waiting to be fluffed up and kneaded by yours truly and turned into lovely little gnocchi. At least, that's the plan anyway. It seems dead-simple, really ( Read more... )
